Insider: internship with Santorini Scientific
"My internship experience with Santorini Scientific has been a highly rewarding and valuable one. Working with Santorini Scientific has given me an indispensable insight into the funding and business arms of scientific innovation and research.
"Santorini Scientific adopt a totally translational and patient centred approach to the research that they do, which isn’t always overtly the case in an academic environment. Moreover, rather than directly being involved in research in a laboratory, Santorini’s more top-down, organisational role in overseeing multiple streams of work and collaborations is a way of working I haven’t ever come across before in the context of scientific research and a valuable perspective that I now have to carry with me into my scientific career."
